Are larger groups accommodated?
Yes, larger groups can be accommodated by renting adjacent houses. Please email us for details and referrals to the owners of neighboring properties.
What is the minimum stay requirement?
In the fall, winter, and spring, the minimum stay is three days, except for last-minute bookings. During the summer, the changeover day is Saturday, and weekly stays are preferred.
Are pets allowed?
No pets are allowed in Villa Eureka. However, pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis with prior permission in Villa Epiphany. A $150 fee per animal is charged, and pets must be kept in crates at night and not left unattended in the house.
What is the tax rate for bookings?
A total hospitality tax of 12.3% is collected for all bookings, which includes 5.3% for the State of Virginia, 2% for Accomack County, and 5% for the Town of Chincoteague.
What are the accepted payment methods?
We prefer payment via personal check or Venmo. Credit cards are accepted with an additional fee.
What is the payment policy?
We require 50% of the total rental amount to confirm any reservation, and the remaining balance is due 90 days before your arrival. All reservation payments are non-refundable, unless we are able to re-rent the house. In that case, we will refund the rent, less a 10% service fee.
What fun activities are available nearby?
Guests can enjoy crabbing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, and boating from the dock. Additionally, explore the beach at Assateague, visit the Island Creamery, enjoy fresh seafood from Gary Howard, or grab BBQ from Woody’s on Maddox Blvd.
What is the trash and recycling policy?
We kindly ask guests to take all trash and recycling to the Solid Waste Center daily. The center is located on Deep Hole Road. Please note it is closed on Tuesdays.
