"We loved our stay in this lovely peaceful home! This was our first trip to Chincoteague island and Eureka! What a wonder home with beautiful views of the water to celebrate our friends 50th Birthday. We loved being able to fish and swim right of the docks, and having access to the water sport equipment or just hanging out on the deck to take in the beautiful scenery. This is such an amazing side of the island within walking distance to a great seafood takeout (loved the shrimp and oysters!!), a wonderful bakery as well as the shops. Thank you so much for offering your home as a vacation rental! It provided instant vacation for us. We can't wait to come back! Now we just need warmer...

"Epiphany was the perfect place for a fun getaway. We were trying to find a place that had water access for fishing, etc. and this was the perfect fit. Plenty of room for everyone and the house was well-equipped. Beautiful views and not far from local attractions. "

"Such a pleasure to awaken each morning with coffee on the deck and beautiful sunrise views over the bay. We loved the dock - enjoyed fishing, crabbing, boating, kayaking, and relaxing. The house location is close to the beach, biking, ice cream, sandy pony donuts, mini golf, and more. We left feeling very much at peace."

"I lead a team of 10 adults, and each year, we hold a retreat/planning session. We've stayed in hotels, campgrounds and condos, but finding Eureka and Epiphany made for our best-ever meeting. Unlike many vacation homes, the photos online were not made to look better than the real thing - In fact, the photos did not do justice to the property. The homes were both spotless, very well-equipped with all the comforts of home (actually, much better than my own home!), and the entire team is still raving about it. Before we left our session, I had several ask if we could return for next year's meeting. "

"And what a week it was. The teens made the most of the clear, sunny days by swinging in the hammock, riding bikes, and kayaking and crabbing (for the first time). The parents enjoyed many a crisp, cold drink on the gazebo, savoring the cool breezes and listening to the birds. The grandmothers puttered to and fro, grateful for their private quarters and the easily accessible open upstairs floor plan. We all enjoyed the cook's kitchen, equipped with our must haves: a coffee maker (this place has two, actually), sharp knives, plenty of cooking vessels, and enough dishes to feed a crowd. "

Our Story dates back till 1972

We have a long and rich history in Chincoteague dating all the way to 1970…

2003

Construction of Villa Epiphany

Our family has owned this place for more than half a century.  For years, it was a dilapidated, but incredibly charming ancient clam house, right on the water, and during storms, under water.

2009

Villa Eureka was finished

As time went by, maintenance on the old clam house became problematic. The old clam house went away in 2009, and was replaced by Eureka!, a solidly built structure, high over the creek and marsh.

2024

Over 20 years of hosting people

To this day, we continue to be meticulous in upkeep and repairs, with a philosophy of CANI (Continuous and Never-ending Improvement). We ensure that both our houses on Chincoteague are in fantastic shape for your stay!
